hi everyone! this is my first post here. i hope you're all doing well! i am completely confused about something that happened to me yesterday--i'd like some insight and opinions!
First things first, I met a guy on an internet dating site (http://www.casualfriends.com/photo/hotbabe ) I came across this site when I divorced and felt gloomy. he was in canada when i first talked to him, and was coming back to the states (same state i'm from) at the end of the month. that was last month. we never talked much in-depth during that month. he got back into town and sent me a message asking when i was going to come up to the city that he lived in to visit him. we chatted for the first time on msn messenger. we decided to meet the next day. i told him about my son, and he said that i could bring him along if i wanted to. i thought that the first time in meeting someone, i would like to go alone! haha. i had no intentions of sex or anything like it, i figured that the first date we would just chat and see whether or not we hit it off, and then go from there. we made plans to maybe go out for drinks and just watch some tv at his new place.
fast forward to the next day (yesterday). i drive up to the city and then to his house (which was very nice, by the way)! he meets me outside, and we go into his house. we start talking about things in general. relationships, religion, etc. he poured us both some wine, and we went out to the porch. this is when i told him about a man that i have been seeing, a man who i would be seeing exclusively if only he lived closer--he lives about 500 miles away. i talked about how much i liked the other guy, etc. probably too much! anyway, we talk a little while longer. i liked him a lot...handsome, nice, caring, ambitious......the talking leads to his arm around me, then kissing, and then to the bedroom (all very quickly).
at this point, i'm pretty confused, because i've never done something like that before. i basically decide that he just wants a one night stand because of the time frame between meeting and ..uh.. doing it. i definatly didn't want it to be just a one night stand. maybe i should have not responded as much or made him slow down. but i didn't.
afterwards, we go to the living room and watch tv and have some interesting conversations. since he just moved into the house, his couch hadn't been delivered yet, and there was just one chair. we sat together on the floor on his laptop looking for washers and dryers for his place. haha. i said, "where did you order your couch from?" and he told me. i said "what is it like?" he said "you'll see. you'll like it." i say "well what color is it?" he says "you'll see!" that is the moment that i realized that maybe he wasn't just in it for a one night stand despite the hurried manner in which we got into bed!
he had to work the next morning, and i said something to the effect of "i should be going soon." he didn't say much back. we talked a little more, and then he said "i'm really tired, let's go to bed." i thought "hmm..he probably wants to have sex again and then i will leave or something." we get into the bed, he sets the alarm clock. and then he did something that i completely didn't expect--he put his arm around me and went to sleep! i wanted to do it again........but i just turned over and woke him up and said "are you sure you want me to spend the night?" he said yes, so we both went to sleep. it was pretty peculiar. we slept all night and when we woke up the next morning, did what i wanted to do the night before, and i got my things and he walked me out so that he could get ready for work. i gave him a hug and i was off--
it's 3pm right now, the day after, and i am still stumped as to whether to take it as a one night stand, or a start of something more. i'd like it to be more, of course, but i don't know how he feels.
what do you think about this whole thing? would he want me to spend the night and tell me that i will like his couch once it is delivered if he just wanted a one night stand? i am new to this whole one night stand thing, i guess! haha. should i call him? wait and see if he calls me? he is still at work now...and i'm sitting at home pondering!

I belive they can become friends without sex .Sex is not our full life , we have more important thing rathar than sex.
