" The Beginning "


The year 2006 my life ended you can say,

Over this year I've lost so much love each day.

I'll briefly explain as you read along my lines,

I'll express my feelings as my heart defines.

Sometimes in life we all need a break from stress,

I took trips to another land to find peace and rest.

Visits to many friends in this land I did know,

Never seeing the future and results when I did go.

Returning home from the peace and rest I had there,

I returned to family who no longer did care.

All things I left behind when I left for this rest,

Where no longer there, not even things I loved best.

In days after my return, nothing was the same,

All turning their backs and never saying my name.

Even friends in the other land did not care,

They forgot who I was and all I did share.

The results from this trip didn't seem fair to be,

I've lost everything in life and all love I could see.

Reflect my true feelings from my broken heart.
